Leaders: Have you taken the new DAC Child Protection Policy? If not – please sign up for one of the following child protection class! YOU MUST ATTEND ONE of these trainings or you will not be allowed on the youth mission trip this year. If neither of these dates work for you, there is a flyer attached with additional trainings throughout Michigan.

-May 19 at Freeland UMC in Freeland starting at 9:00am.
It will be helpful for you to have the child protection forms completed before the day of the training so that the facilitator can send it in along with the test on your behalf. The package must be complete with 3 reference forms (complete, signed and dated from individuals who are not related to you and have known you for a year). It is best to submit ALL documentation together on the DAY OF the training. Please come prepared so that we can ensure the paperwork is submitted in a proper fashion and that you are authorized to be on the trip.
An additional background check is needed for Group specifically- more information coming soon, we will cover the cost – you just need to complete them when we get them set up!
